SGBELT Controller Firmware Update

The new software is transferred to the controller via the Wi-Fi connection built into the conveyor. All you need is a laptop or even a phone with Wi-Fi capability to update the conveyor software to the latest version.

You can download the software from the www.sgbelt.com/update website. There you will also find this software installation guide. To update a new version of the conveyor driver, you will need to download the latest available version of the software to your computer or phone and save it there.

With the latest version of the software file saved, turn on the conveyor. On the conveyor controller, go to the Other menu, and then Update Conveyor. Press the arrow down to start the conveyor’s Wi-Fi module.

Now connect your laptop or phone to the new internal Wi-Fi network created by the conveyor. Use any web browser and go to www.sgbelt.local and click enter. The conveyor software update portal will now open. By clicking on “Choose file”, select the previously downloaded file from your computer or phone. You can also drag the file to the selected location. Once the file is selected, press “Update”. Within a dozen or so seconds, the conveyor software will be fully updated. After the update is successfully, the conveyor will restart and display the main menu.

To check the current version of the conveyor software, go to Other menu and then select About option. The letter V indicates the version of the currently installed firmware version of the conveyor.
