Unpacking the conveyor and its contents

Introduction

In this case, it is the version with Ball Pen W15 slots, one of the four available, what can be seen on the sticker. To open the box, you will need a knife or scissors.

Contents of the box

The set is the same for each conveyor, albeit with one difference. Conveyors with W60 slot have 25 additional slot mounts in the accessory box that are not installed on the belts in this version of the conveyor. You will need additional mounting beams when replacing the conveyor sockets with narrower W15 or W30 sockets.

Unpacking the contents

After cutting the tape, remove the safety cardboard. At the very top you will find a small box containing accessories for operating and servicing the conveyor, which will be useful to us in a moment. Remove the protective foam by pulling it straight up. There are two boxes on the front of the conveyor. In them you will find a power supply, cables and connecting accessories. The conveyor itself weighs about 10 kg. so you can ask the other person for help to take it out of the box. Grabbing the blue handles, lift the conveyor straight up. Then put it on a stable surface. Legs for mounting the conveyor can be found in the box, under the conveyor:

• long leg for mounting outside the laser surface
• short leg for fixing on the laser working area
• set of four adjustable legs
• M4 and M5 screw attachment to the laser base

Unlocking the feeder

That’s all what is in the box, so we can move on to unpacking the conveyor. Remove the foil from the conveyor. Remove the blue transport protections by pulling the handle towards you and then up. Store the blue protections in the shipping box, along with the foam fillers. Keep the box together with the blue protections for the warranty period. They are necessary if you need to return the conveyor for repair. During transport, the protruding sockets on the conveyor are exposed to damage and only the original box ensures safe transport by courier.
